I heard that Jesse should be in town to play the Oil Man tomorrow if anyone else wants to come watch some good one pocket.
Waste of time cause Jason or anyone else won't bet against Jesse. I'll bet against Jason though if they are playing while I am there and only for the time I am there.

We will see, Jesse isn't the most punctual of people. I'd give him a 60% chance of showing up when he says haha! I hope someone actually wins instead of the normal outcome. I have no idea how Jason is either winning or barely losing a game only getting 9-7 from Jess. Either I underestimate Jason or overestimate Jess, either way I'll sidebet on Jess if it happens.

its a big tourney weekend so my guess is jess is wanting to stop and play on his way to lincoln. Some of us are going up to beloit to play as well. Pool is more fun on a road trip unless you get busted
Jeff, I think it is just the Omaha store that is going out of business. They had been showing a commercial where it flashes on the screen very briefly saying this, but the rest of the commercial makes it sound like it is the Urbandale store. They do have a knew commercial which clarifies mentioning the Omaha store but still it has been confusing people. I know John Borden went out there and said they had no good deals with the store closing. I have also seen a kid on 100th street holding a sign saying it is closing as well...nice lil false advertising.

I was there once looking at cues....no one bothered to ask if I wanted to buy anything so I left with the same amount of money I walked in with.

So this weekend i was playing some one pocket with Dean. I hit a break that was pretty good i thought, and i said so.
Dean looks at me and says, "you got a lot to learn kid" and proceeds to clear a ball out of my hole and freeze me to another.

Scott Sonius broke and made 4 stripes last night against Cue Doctors. He ran out from there. That is only 5 shots total wow!!
I don't think I"ve seen that happen ever or seen any fewer than 5 shots in an 8-ball break and run. I wonder what the odds are of that happening?
