Update on the Des Moines pool scene

Well I'm not planning on trying to take anyone off, I'm not that caliber of player. Just enjoy a good game. Yes would have been the best answer, but apparantly there's a minimum character requirement for posts.

You come back for the tourney we will get you all matched up mr. mitchell. My info is not secret. Rookie called me as soon as you came in there "barking." If you can't get action you like I'll just take some weight based on my line straight from Wisconsin and gamble with you. Your reputation precedes you.
 
If I can make it up there this weekend and if he is there Rookie and I will be playing some bank pool most likely if anyone wants some side action on either side.

I will not even dignify this with a response. How in the hell did you get Rookie to make a game? Rookie is the 2nd best banker in Des Moines though, I know this because he told me. With that said I will play the winner a race to 4 short racks on either table for a Triple Goose and Red Bull.
 
Well if I came across as barking then I will be the first to apologize. I can come across as a bit arrogant from time to time. If your line is correct and my reputation precedes me, then you would know I am not a large gambler like yourself. I play small and I like to grind. Until I moved here to Iowa I had never played higher than a hundred dollar set or 50 a game one pocket. I also want to have fun while I'm doing it and joke around a lot and if this happens to offend any of you, by all means call me on it and ill try to be a little more considerate of you. I will be up this weekend and I'm sure we can find a good game and I look forward to it.

Jamie says he'd like to try the 9-7 $200 a game again this weekend. He'd have to take a day off work, so let me know soon so he can take it off tonight.

Was nice meeting you this weekend. How did that tournament end up ?
 
I believe the guys from Omaha won. Lil joes second. And ours 3rd. Ill get back to you by days end on Fenton.

No lights....No camera...but somehow in Des Moines....ACTION! Hope it goes down, that's a strong bet out the gate too, REAL STRONG.

We only played 4 games $10 a game and each won 2. I was beyond toasty last night since I was at Kristen's league at 12, had a pitcher of beer and one fire ball. Went home and played poker for about an hour and a half, came back up to Stix to watch my buddy Tim play some $20 sets and Jimmy was up there as well. I don't remember if I barked at him, if Jimmy barked at him, or if he barked at me. If we play again the bet will be higher then $10 a game.

Edit...it also didn't help that Jimmy was feeding us bombs too while we were hanging out.
 
Let Fenton know its a game. Post 5 games. Can't go late sunday I've got to work early monday morning. What night is he thinking?

LOL I texted Rookie to make sure we were talking about the same dude, let's just say he likes his end for some odd strange reason. I do believe you hustled yourself into a game sir.

He's probably favored. Like my avatar says easy money. I should be asking for weight but I'll take the worst of it and play even. I haven't even been playing pool but sometimes that brings out the best.

Anyone up for some cheap 1p action Thursday afternoon before the tournament? A little warming up never hurts.
