Update on the Des Moines pool scene

Hey, it is the start of the fall season and I'd like to give all a very helpful book on pool. It is an e book so I need to send it to your email address. I worked on this book for two years. If I were to try to picture discocincy, I would think he would be a latino dippy dave with spell check.
Just saying I have no idea what this person is talking about but their spelling is at least decent.......

Gary find any action? Heard the Monday night 9ball at Smokeys had a few folks.

Is the Sunday night over at Styx West now? I'd like to get there. Still start around 5:45?

Sounds good Troy. There's a small chance I may go to Stix tonight. I don't have a problem with Stix, it's those white guys in Windsor Heights with sirens on their cars that's the problem.

Chariton has recently had a pool hall open there. Not Sportsman's but another one. Both have 9 footers.

There are some in Grinnell at Rabbits or whatever it's called now.

The Ike's has a couple if you're a member.

McCoy's took their only one out.

Der! eidt .....Bass Pro shop has two beautiful ones in the Jeanette Lee room by the bowling alley.

A Friday headsup, guys....

WHO radio told of the cops setting up a roadblock at a undisclosed location in town today.

They'll be searching your car, etc. and how about this?....giving away free T-shirts as a token for violating your rights.

Be careful and remember these words:

I do no consent to a search.

Am I being detained, Am I free to go?

Im possibly moving to DM within the month if a job comes thru, anyway Im looking for a league to play on. I understand it will be too late to get on a team but possibly willing to sub and just get enough league nights to go to the tourneys. Let me know who I need to get ahold of, thanks in advance.

A Des Moines man told police he was robbed of $2,200 in cash at his residence about 1:30 a.m. today.

Frank Nelson, 61, told police one of the three suspects looks like a movie star.

He said he was playing pool at a Des Moines night spot for $100 a game and met an attractive woman who looked like actress Halle Berry. Nelson invited the woman to his apartment in the 2900 block of Ingersoll Ave. to have a drink. The woman asked if she could invite two friends — both men – to come with them. Nelson said that that would be OK.

When he reached his apartment, Nelson emptied his pockets on a counter. Police said in a report: “Frank stated he had $2,200 cash on him that he placed on the counter with his wallet and cell phone.”

While Nelson was talking to the two men, they pushed him to the floor and grabbed his cash. They fled the apartment. The woman ran out with them.

Nelson said he’d never seen the robbers before but he believes they saw him playing pool for cash and saw that he had a large amount of cash.

There were no arrests.​

He won all that and Hally Berri, too? I've never heard of the guy...where does he play and does he still want some action?

Sounds pretty lame. Pull out your wallet with $2200 and lay it out in front of three people you just met. And this guy plays for $100 a game right.

Hi there Dick,

With a story like that he just earned the wild 6 without even seeing him hit a ball.

And we can adjust from there with probably more wieght.

I'll even give you half the action if you can find the guy.
