There are many others that do care. There are a surprising number of players that participate and a surprising number of spectators to cheer them on. It is ,after all. a State tournament. There's high level of talent that shows up to compete.

Most of the players were gamblers and enjoyed the excitement of the pool room subculture when they were younger but that goes away. What stays with them are the memories of those times, the stories they have to tell, and , most of all, THE LOVE OF THE GAME.

At Lizard Acres they play every day, for hours, day after day, because they just love the game.

The tournament offers no monetary reward . Just a medal and bragging rights. It's a tournament that requires only that you love the game.

Jason , you got to get to a bar. That way you could at least hustle enough to cover your bar tab. But I am duly impressed!:bow-down:

When do you and Stuckart think you could get up here? I can't believe you don't get out. As the song says," Momma told me not to look into the eyes of the sun,' but Momma , that's where the fun is,',"

Oops! I forgot about the prevalent DWI Laws. It's probably safer to stay home and medicate instead of joining the group therapy sessions.:yeah:

mama wont let me party like i used too lol. once i play a lil bit more i will be back in action!! there are a few 7s that i am gonna peel!

one of these weekends he can get away from family time.

i dont drive so im good. pool scene is kinda boring at the moment so i stay home and get trashed until something better comes up.

I have two Labs that total about 210 lbs. And they insist I get up to feed them. A black and a chocolate. I love the time in early morning. Nobody
( wife ) to tell me to do this or that. It's my time. Put on my snuggy. Have a cup of coffee , doze off watching Fox News. Screw around on the computer. Hug my dogs.

Next Weekend Lizard Acres with Host the 2010 Arizona Senior Olympic 8 Ball Billiards Championships, both Saturday for the Youngens, 69 and UNDER, and Sunday, 70 to almost DEAD.
