update on the Lizard Acres pool scene

I mentioned last update that I don't use real names but I am overcome with temptation. The Derby City player that I said has settled in Lizard Acres is Ed Scott, a gentleman of great skill in our obsession. He has stopped in our room several times. I had the pleasure of playing him several games of one - hole and he, of course, crushed me as he would a bug. But you can say I made him quit because he was sickened by the carnage and chose not to inflict further pain upon me.


Anyway, he dropped in Thursday with Corey Deuel in tow !! He just wanted
to show Corey ( my new best friend) our facility with which he was duly impressed. I got to chat with them a few moments, shook hands a coupla times before they left. What a damned nice kid! If he was not so well known he could hustle you out of your house. No way would you suspect he was a player. He's a nice image for pool. Maybe the image of the future.

George the Jump will not be attending Kolby's 9-ball tourney on Sun.
I couldn't even get any money out of my wife:sorry:

Ed Scott, I believe me and him will play sometime in the future, he is a solid player and I will enjoy playing him since he accepted my open challenge to any 8 for an all around. I have so much going on that I have not even gotten to play Tim aka Grindz like I want to so badly, will do my best to find some time next week and hope his schedule is open. I would like to make it over your way to look at the room, looks nice from the pictures, how much is table time? :smile:

Lenny, nada, nothing, no dinero, nuttin honey,zero,. That's about what I can afford right now. Even had to spend my case money. Have a blast this W/E. Wish I could be there.:sorry:
 
Living on a fix pension, and social security is a B****, dude I9 know where you are coming from. Just blew my made money for the month on the mrs's medication. We make choices the young generation don't know about, or have to deal with.

i spend 50-100 a week medicating myself.... does that count lol?

This young generation is going to have it much tougher IMO, the world is getting worse and not better, atleast you grew up during the countries golden age.

I fear for my kids, I never had an easy life at all and my kids now have it much better then I ever did but I will say this that the future does not look good, 20 years from now I can only imagine what it will be like.
 
I think you missed the point. Knowing 12310bch personally, and his situatin, he JUST CAN, he can't for a VGR. Same reason I just don't go out and play in event much either.
 
Two things

1) Fast Lenny , I'm not quite sure I have grown up. Just gotten older.

2) Jason, I don't mean to brag but when the $ were rollin' in that amount
sounds like per night to me. :wink:

not to brag, but thats based on me not leaving the house ! :cool: i talked to stuckart and agreed to come try you lizard acres hustlers some.
