Its been a while but I promised an update. Weight is or seems a lot harder to take off as you age, LOL. I was watching a commercial on TV for IcyHot Patches. I applied one for the lower back and played 6 hours non stop with no lower back pain, love it.

This allowed me to approuch the table correctly and with my head correction right I was very pleased with the over size glasses out of Canada. I did not string a whole bunch of racks together but I was getting out like I should. More swimming and more practice needed but reccomend the glasses and IcyHot strongly.

I came down with Shingles last week, that is a bare. Yes, I had Chicken Pox 55 years ago. They have a new shot out for it but I was not eligible as I had the Shingles so its 5 Horse Size tablets a day for a few weeks. Get the shot, you don't want this.

Next week I will be trying to play 6 hours a day. Body in position, I can see so now I gotta be stringing the racks. Age is only a small factor in playing Pool if you fight it.

Had shingles a few years back. Not as bad as some people get it but it was near my left eye. It was months before my eye cleared up completely. Been wearing glasses since I was five so that's not really a problem. Degenerative disk in lower back, I may try that patch, it's been rough lately, today especially.

Good for you, Tom. I'm no youngster either. I also have the Canadian Glasses and think they are great.

I can't play at all with my glasses, I look right over the top of them. I think I'm going to try contacts as this was my 1st pair of glasses. I've only been wearing them like 6 months .
It's tough to get my eyes adjusted

Can I have links/info for all three please?

But those pale in comparison to the latest health issue keeping me off the table - knee ligament damage, which is a nightmare, and a long haul, I suspect.

For you guys with sciatica type issues there is a best selling book (40 yrs and counting) Treat your own back by McKinzie. I use the stretches in it to help. Also I raised my table 5.5" which also helps. I also have a foam roller under my table that I use every few racks.
