See how rumors get started??? James is a great player...but 3-5 Americans??? Come on!poolsucker said:Thats because nodody will gamle with him. Maybe only 3 to 5 Americans would even try.

^^well i wouldnt say this comment is too far off base, there certainly isnt a line forming to play the man. At the Carolinas open a year or two ago there were no takers to play walden, shannon would not bet high enough to please waldon. None of the other top players wanted a piece of the man either. And there were many, many top players there as usual. A lot of big guns there wanted the 7 from the man at the time and are kinda glad he didnt offer it by the way the ones i talked to were acting. The man is a GREAT player, PERIOD
If you dont believe me ask the top players in the world how they would play him in increments of $10k and that will let you know his speed.
Earl Strickland....now what do you want to bet???poolsucker said:JW is not a top 5 tournament player but I can only think of 3 Americans that would have the best of it, gambling in 9 ball period. That would be Cory, Rodney and Johnny. He beat Alex to 2 different 8 ahead sets playing dead even. I know for a fact that the US big three don't have to like it. Tell me what Americans will play him dead even outside the big 3 and I will set it up.
I think Walden might be the favorite over Schmidt??? Once I started counting the Americans, his initial comment was closer than I thought. I would also say that Earl would play if the bet was right, and confidential, so keep him on the list!NorthCarolinian said:im not speaking for anyone but id say that outside of your top 3 americans dennis hatch and john schmidt would both like to play him even nine ball for big money. Not sure if they have already played and if so if the loser of the match had the balls to step up and try again. Any stories would be great. FYI I would love to see Hatch play for big money and lose, he would completly snap and hurt someone(maybe his self) or something.
I hope you are joking? I know they are both dogs to Walden. I think James beat Chris with the 7 ball the last time they played.NorthCarolinian said:billychips, you dont like bartrum and kirkwood against walden for say 10 or 20k????
I take that back. Boyam I dumb! James gave Chris the 7 last year at Derby City and Chris robbed him.billychips said:I hope you are joking? I know they are both dogs to Walden. I think James beat Chris with the 7 ball the last time they played.
