Does anyone know what happens if customs seizes/holds an item that is shipped into the US? Do they notify the sender or receiver that the shipment will be delayed? If the item is not able to be shipped to the receiver for whatever reason, do they send it back to the sender? In a hypothetical scenario: Seller sends a cue with an ivory joint to a buyer in the US from outside the US. Cue is stopped at customs and they don't allow it to proceed. Do they send the cue back to the sender, as it is not illegal to own an item with ivory, only ship it. Do they confiscate it and destroy it? Just curious.
