There has been a remarkable response to entry into this year's rearranged United States National Snooker Championship at the Embassy Billiards Club in San Gabriel, California, from November 22-25. A full-field of 64 entries has already been attained, however two further entries will be accepted to mitigate against any late withdrawals. Once there is a total of 66 players entered, the entry will then close early. ...

Yay! I'd love to see more snooker in USA. I remember in the '80s, when I went on the road with well-known Maryland player, the rooms down South had at least one or two snooker tables.

Billy Stephens old pool room in Richmond, Virginia, used to have a snooker table front and center when you walked in.

The old Baker's pool room in Tampa, FL had a snooker table, but when I was there, they were playing ring games of 9-ball on it.
