US OPEN and New Balls?

In looking at pictures of the US Open on the AZ website I noticed the balls in the pictures. These balls do not look like Super Aramith balls, and the black outlining around the ball numbers do not look like Brunswick Centennials that I have seen. Are these new Brunswick or Aramith balls or are they some other kind of balls?

Have I missed some change in the pool world here? I think I was the last person on earth to hear about the magic rack, so I would not be surprised if another development has occurred without my knowledge.

The Tournaments are just the new top of the line Aramith ball is all. THe newest gen resin, said to be more durable, less burn marks, yada yada.

The Super Pros are still on the market; they've just added the T's to the top of the line.
 
you can't get the tv colors with the measle ball in the new duramith formulation in the retail channel yet, only the super pros still. they seem to be only given out to pro tourneys at the moment, though there have been a few sellers that have been able to snag a few to sell. i have one, they're definitely better than the super pros :)
