I do believe this event has proven to be more exciting than any other pool tournament out there. Better than the US Open and the Derby. It is great to have such an event which feels like the olympics or the world cup. It's good for the players and the fans. Now we need some corporate help to get this event aired live.

that some of the other Pool associations, equal and lessor, and promoters will be intelligent enough to take a few hints from the IPt as to how to do a few things. I think this tournament proves they are no longer an 'off the wall' organization, but a trailblazer to raise the level of Pool and competition in the Pool world.
The IPT already has done more for the Pool world than anyone else had done in the last 30 years. Just think what they might accomplish in the next 5 years? Maybe, in 5 years, Pool will be an Olympic sport.

It is not a matter of the other promoters knowing what to do, it is a matter of having the money to do it.Snapshot9 said:
I'm sure a lot of the other promoters would love to do all of the glitzy things that the IPT is doing. Some of them may even have some better ideas. However, they are constantly scrambling to get prize money, as well as operating money. To have a billionaire backer, like KT, makes running a tournament or a tour a heck of a lot easier.
Don't overlook the many accomplishments of other promoters, who happen to be on tight budgets. They have worked very hard and accomplished much, with very little.
