He should have played the 7 to 9 combo when he landed bad on 7. Cueball would have gone up table and 7 at far end rail. Was his best chance in a tough spot.

Why did he rule out the 1 rail kick?
I thought if he did 1 rail and hit low on the 8 he would've at least got separation. Also that 2 rail on heated table/new cloth is going to act differently than expected, so might as well go with the shortest distance. But he's the pro so only he would know.
No sane person shoots the shot he did. Time clock and pressure got him.
He slams bottom of 8 so much good could happen

Look at the final pack! Everyone from a different country. Only China or Taiwan will have 2 in the final 8.

I am pretty sure they are only using one table for all the matches for final 16 single elimination stage.Looks like they're using multiple tables for the quarter finalsFor example, if SVB makes it he wont be playing on table 1.
