This knockout round is great.
Wu dominating SVB.
Filler is a stud too.

I posted this after the match where he jumped. As soon as he did that I knew he was choking so I made my post.
Once again I’m right.
This isn’t the us open of the past when it was played out of a bar. This is Vegas and us open finally has credibility so I expect him to choke like usual in big tournaments internationally against overseas players.
Wu lost earlier in the tournament...did he choke too?
Your comment was made in reaction to a match and therefore is not very astute.
Now if you came on this thread and made this post while Shane was going undefeated to the 16, you would have more credibility.
Also, to treat the last 5 US opens as "bar tournaments" is kind of ridiculous.
They were anything but that
Bar comment was tongue in cheek but I’m saying Vegas is a long way from Virginia. It was considered a small venue due to prize money. Heck they were going to cancel it one year and international players refused to play there.
Vegas makes the open much more credible and will attract young talented players. It’s worth going to than Virginia. So it’s a bigger venue and I’ve seen how svb fair against legitimate international talents in much more bigger international venues. I believe the best players in the world are from Asia and other parts of Europe.
Looks like the stands have cleared out after SVB match.

Yea. The people there don’t know how lucky they are to be able to watch other talents play. This opportunity doesn’t come often.
Weren't you the same guy saying Shane chokes on the big stage before the last Mosconi Cup until Shane won the final match, taking down the trophy...and then you disappeared from here for a while?
There was no way he was going to beat Wu. Wu is the better player in the match. SVB is actually known for bad shot selection and once again it haunted him when he decided to jump and not kick. The momentum changed after that point and Wu’s killer instinct came out. Also mentioned by the commentators.
I know people don’t like it when I criticize pool players but if you want pool to be legitimate then people have to accept criticism of their idols. Just like I think Lebron sucks or the Lakers suck. Westbrook is a choke artist with empty stats. Or when we criticize golfers. We’re allowed to make an evaluation.
Like what I’ve seen from SVB in these big tournaments is that his weakness, shot selection, has hurt him once again. That miss on the 2 and also the 9 hurt him. It’s a trend if his.
