Great tournament by Johnny...he and SVB are the two most highly ranked Americans of the Open. After this performance I don't think Matchroom won't choose JA to play for the American team.

To be honest I didn't think Archer could have beaten Appleton. Not with Daz's determination to win the Open...even from the loser's bracket. Let's see if anyone can stop Darren...!

shane broke. had a shot on the 1 in the upper corner with a possible 2 9 combo. shane made the 1 and got out of position for the 2 9. shane jumped the 6 made the 2 9 combo but the 2 rolled off the rail and onto the ground. 9 ball spotted and jose ran out.

Jose up over SVB 1-0. Shane's second shot was a 2-9 jump combo that he made, but the 2 dribbled over the rail and onto the floor, giving Jose BIH.
 
Jose breaks drys with no shot on the 1 ball for shane

shane pushes out for the 1. jose takes it and flukes in the 8 ball but a rail first shot on the 1. jose makes the one but tries to safe off the 2. 2 and 3 were on the end rail and ends up making the 4 in the corner and leaves full table between cue and 2. jose gets safe behind the 5/9.

shane kick safes with jose accidentally kicking in the 2 opposite corner. 3 ball by first diamond opposite corner of cue.

jose over cuts the 5 ball and leaves it hanging for shane.
