It is not a double-standard since there is a logical reason why men shouldn't be allowed in the Women's US Open(they would win this year and every year in the near future so it wouldn't be much of a Women's Open) but there is no logical reason for women not to be in the US Open.
If you go to the US Open website it does not say that it is the Men's US Open. If they start to call it the Men's US Open then you might have a point.
It is a semantic argument. The Norfolk USOpen is understood to be gender specific, whil the Women's Open put it in the title.
