USBA multi-lingual site

Why Usba Website is NOT SO ACTIVE? my opinion.
How many 3 cushion players play the game in US?????
If there are 3000 players, how many use the internet? 5% 30% or 90%?
I do have so many questions regarding the WEBSITE?
To Me I access Kozoom like 3 times a day, Az Billiards twice and USBA website like once a week.......
The reason is ,
Not what every body say , 3 cushion is famous in Europe!!!!,
NOOOOOO IT's NOT ,we DO have enough players and we can HAVE more!!!
My suggestion is, we should have international BILLIARD NEWS in USba website!!!
We need to make it more colorful and bring life into it!( I only see Hugo's picture and Pedro's)
I still believe like every state has there own website,( and it's linked to the main HUB with all the tournament results)
JIM SHOVAK CAN'T be everywhere!!!
WE needs ENERGY and we need to promote the game .
Come on GUYS we can do it

I agree with you. The site gets little attention. You may be on the board soon and I hope your energies will be partly directed to improving the site.
Speaking of Kozoom, I've tried to get a hold of Xavier twice. Once by e-mail and once by phone to no avail. I wanted to pick his brain regarding streaming and the equipment he uses. Since you know him, can you speak to him for me. What equipment is necessary to replicate the job he does. Would he have any interest in expanding his reach by having a US Kozoom?

The Mushroom squad at it. Maybe it time for both members and nonmembers to voice their opinion of what they want from the New President before March and where the New President see the future of USBA going/in store for.
The portuguese translantion is so bad that I am actually thinking that I am reading a foreign language.
If you need help with the translation in portuguese I can help you... Ask anybody that speaks portuguese and they will tell you that the sentences make no sense at all.

The translation is provided automatically by Google; it is not currently provided by volunteer translators. Perhaps Google is not yet helpful for general translation. Google does have a way that volunteers can make the translation process better, but I haven't looked into it. You get to it by going to translate.google.com and putting in the text (or maybe the URL of the page) you are interested in. After it does a translation, it asks you how to make the translation better.
Does anyone find the translations useful?

Maybe the process of using Google to translate the site might not be as effective as USBA might think. Only time and feedback will tell. Like I said, if you ever need my help I will be more than willing to help you guys out.

Whether or not the translation is accurate or not this is a great step in the right direction.
As time goes on it can all be cleaned up.
Has anybody checked out the Spanish and Korean translations? These 2 languages should be cleaned up first if needed. I'm sure the USBA would accept help with any and all the choices.

Thanks for the input. The webmaster that Jim uses for the site mentioned that using Google translation is only a stop gap. Going forward, having someone like yourself helping will be appreciated.
