Coming to you live from Reno, NV!!! We're at the Grand Sierra, and we're about to kick off the US Bar Table Championship. There will be 3 championships determined, in 10 ball, 9 ball and 8 ball. The 10 ball starts today, followed by the 9 ball, then 8 ball.
Couldn't make it here? You're in luck, TAR will be live streaming the tournament play each day here. Basically TAR will be broadcasting a few days of free access and then a PPV for the final day of play for each event. As always, if you buy the whole event package, you save money. Remember, you will be getting a full day of pool for that price, and it will also be looping each night. You can get links to the PPV at www.theactionreport.com Justin thinks he will have them up later today, when he knows more about how everything will unfold. So check back at the TAR site.
You also get to experience the excellent tournament software that CSI uses for some tournaments. It's called CTS OnDemand and it does everything but play the game for the player
The brackets will be at www.ctsondemand.com I will be putting together some pointers on how to use this tournament software to it's fullest advantage, maybe tonight. It's easy to figure out anyways, but many people don't experiment and click on other things, so they miss out on other features it has. I will start a new thread for that, so be on the look out for that.
The brackets will up a little later this morning. You can find out who's signed up and other info about the tournament, by going to http://playbca.com/Events/2012USBarTableChampionships.aspx
I got here Sat and have been helping setup the tournament the past couple of days. Today I will be running a camera for the TAR Live Stream, so that should be interesting:smile: I LOVE WORKING FOR CSI!!!! I LOVE BEING AROUND POOL!!!!!
I hope to get a blog going to share my experience here, and will work more on that tonight. Spent several hours last night working on it, but basically just got a template going, as I ran into several issues I needed to work out.
In the meantime, here's a few pics over the past few days. Look for my thread announcing the link to the blog, where I will share some video clips and more pics, along with my rambling about what I experience here
These photos show the beginning stages of setting up the tournament. The job that consumes the most time, is the hanging of the lights.
