USBTC Stream Updates 2-27-14

Game 4

Bergman converts the out. He looks like its business as usual while playing DO. :)

3-1 Berg; DO to break Game 5.

DO breaks 'em same way and makes a ball with shape for an out. 2 to 3 dicey. He hooks himself and smacks the table with his open palm (don't want to damage the million dollar stroke hand) :) He converts a safe.

Safety battle.

DO has to use the bridge to play the next safety (2nd time I've seen it used since the stream began).

Berg may see the edge of three ball, but he don't like it. Looks like a two rail kick coming up. Nope. He kicks it in one rail. Has a shot.

Berg runs little long for shape on 7 ball, has shot in side pocket. Runs out.

4-1 Berg and he will break Game 6.

Ken S. out again to wipe the table down. He really shows his passion and dedication to our game. Thanks Ken!

Berg has mild break shot, makes a ball but only has a safe shot. He converts. DO must masse or kick 1/2 rails.

He kicks 2 rails and gets a safe out of the shot. Berg in tough spot here.

Gets hit leaves DO a tough shot. Although he'll probably have to play safe on 2 ball. He does, but leaks out for one rail kick. Whoa. He calls corner and gets lucky because he made it there, but not by his design.

Berg runs out after great break out shot.

5-1 Berg; DO to break in game 7. Huge mountain to climb for DO considering its alternate break.

DO with the mild break, makes a ball but is hooked. He decides to kick one ball in (close to corner pocket) and converts. Table is congested and looks like he'll once again play safe on the two ball.

Berg kicks and leaves distance, but it appears DO can see full two ball. Ken says DO is struggling and believes its got to do with the mild break.

DO leaves shot in side pocket for Berg. Table is open for a run out. 3 to 4 is delicate. Berg taking his time...bumps the 8 ball coming off rail but has a shot. The run continues. He's out.

6-1 Berg; Berg to break Game 8.

Three unforced errors in this match by DO. Justin converts on each one.

Berg makes two balls (medium break) but has to push. He's exploring his options. Re-positions four ball and leaves bank on two ball. Correction, DO attempts to cut it in = no good. Leaves Berg an out.

Berg looks like a killer out there and gets out.

7-1 Berg; DO to break.

DO ups his break shot power (a little bit), makes a ball, has a shot. Table looks "messy". DO has to play safe on two ball, which he does.

Berg kicks but leaves edge of two ball. DO cuts it in (almost scratches in side) and has an out possibility.

DO is out.

7-2 Berg; Berg to break Game 10.

DO needs some dry breaks and unforced errors to have a chance.

Berg (medium break), makes a ball, will play safe. He does. DO going airborne. He does and makes the 9 ball; however, cue ball bounces off table. :(

Berg (with ball in hand) runs out.

8-2 Berg on the Hill; DO to break.

DO breaks, makes a ball and has an out. DO, shooting 9 ball through magic rack, runs out.

8-3 Berg; Berg to break.

Berg (med break) makes four balls, has tough shot on two to get out. I don't know if it passes though. It must because he's lining it up. He clips the ball down the rail and leaves DO a duck, duck goose out.

8-4 Berg; DO to break.

DO is chewing gum look cool as a cucumber.

DO (mild break) makes a ball and has a delicate out. Takes some care from 3 to 5 ball position and gets out.

8-5 Berg; Berg to break.

Smell a comeback?

DO accepts push out. Safe or shoot? Of course he shoots and makes it, then pots the 2 ball with authority. He has an out. This is getting interesting and entertaining. He's out!

8-6 Berg; DO to break.

Berg posture = slumpy in the chair. DO breaks mildly and makes a ball, but has to push. Berg waves his hand and says "go ahead". DO has a jump shot that's dicey. He might kick.

Nope. He jumps it in the center of pocket, but is hooked on two ball. He kicks (almost makes it) leaving Berg tough.

Berg plays great safety. DO examining his possibilities.
