Used 7' pro am pricing

Wow I feel I got a great deal on mine now. Thanks RKC!

Ask around I had a buddy call a local mechanic and he happened to have one at the moment I bought mine.

I'd be selling it for $3,000 to $3,500 + delivery & setup.

By the time he gets done, he is pretty close to buying a brand new blue label Diamond.

Why spend $4K plus on a used table that is over 6 years old, when a new one is just south of $5K, delivered, set up and with new cloth and rails.

Just too much for something that old and used when new is just so close, you can SMELL it ;)

Can't be over 6 years old if it's a blue label, oldest it can be is Jan 2011, that's when Diamond went all blue label on the 7fts.

I thought it was 2010, so I was off by a year. Still a 5 year old table, that's darn close to a new price. I'd prefer new unless the deal for used was so good it was tough to pass up. Heck, you add in new rails, and he might be near the new price ;)

RKC what do you think a fair price for a 7' blue label on the east coast with new tourney blue on it?

You asked about a "blue label" not a red, now if you're talking about a red label I'd back out a $1,000 because that's what it would cost you for me to turn it into a blue label. And, has the table been in commercial use, or is it the original buyer selling the table, if it is, then they should know when the table was bought, if not, get the serial number of the table and I can tell you about how old the table is, which does effect the value of the asking price.

The op was about a red label and when I offered 2000 he said no....I was asking about a blue label for when the next opportunity comes up. Not sure on prior use, seller stated it came from a friend and the pictures of the table showed rosewood dymondwood and had all the sponsor stickers on the skirt

Well, right now I'm unclear as to whether it's a red or blue label, which does make a difference in the selling price. 9ft blue came out Oct 2010.

The only ones im aware of are the ones diamond uses for the regional events. Those start at closer to $5k. If someone is sitting on a bunch and willing to flip em for under 4, I'd be very surprised.

They don't start any where near that. My friend got his diamond at the super billiards expo with the diamond light delivered and set up for $3500. I was given a price of just the table delivered for $3200 from the expo.

They must have higher prices on the west coast then.

What kind? I know the proam 7s run a little cheaper.

There was 7' coinop on CL recently in the Portland area for 3500. I don't think it lasted more than a few days.

Sounds like a typical pool player offer.
Almost half of asking.
No need to even think about offering something close to fair.

Actually, that is a good, honest offer. new table costs 5, and that includes delivery and set up.

This table you still need delivery, set up, new cloth, and because it's a red label another $1K to replace the rails. he might be in over $3500 before all is said an done.

The problem is the guy was asking too much.
