I too think it was a hell of a deal.
Like Jim said, it doesn't look like it was used much at all.
Did anyone find out if this was Joe Porper's machine like Thomas thought?

Yes, it's been confirmed that is the same machine I worked on for Joe. As I said I don't think it's ever cut a cue - as far as I know all the inlaid cues Joe ever built were done on a pantograph by an employee of his named "Rudy".
I believe the converted Logan is also from Joe's shop. It would need a lot of work to get it back to the condition I would want it to be in.
I find the whole thing a little confusing. Joe sold his billiard-related business to Mueller quite a while ago, and I kind of remember that the shop equipment was part of that deal (?) No question the eBay seller is NOT Joe, so maybe Mueller consigned the tools to some broker?
