have seen a few diamond pro am 9 ft tables used for sale on either craigslist or ebay and wanted to know what the draw backs were for these?

can someone damage them if improperly stored? what about the 1 piece slates. will they warp just leaning them against the wall?

I do not know the pros/cons of used Diamond tables, someone else will have to help you with that.

As far as anything warping(pool table or not) it has to be in an enviroment that is damp or wet or excessive heat or cold. If a piece of slate is stored properly on edge with very little lean and nothing leaning against it in a controlled enviroment it should be ok for a long period of time.

Any table can be damaged if stored improperly, cushions can be dented permantly, veneers can be damaged, legs and leg levelers can be damaged, aprons, pockets, cloth and so on.

You really cant expect to buy a used table and have it be perfect, but with a little tlc and maybe a once or twice over most used tables are fine and usally a good buy vs buying a new table at full retail cost.

My first thoughts would be how the tables were rolled over on their sides to store them, second, how they plan to transport the tables when/if someone buys one.
