used tap anyone ?

Leonard you've been looking for a used tap forever. Why not cough up the $35 bucks for a new one? They ain't that expensive. Surely that won't break you. I doubt anyone is going to want to sell one cheaper than that.

never know

Hey I just want the 55 buck piloted tap for 35 whats wrong with that, Im got pretty new lathe and pretty new cue butt, so In need hole drilled and tapped simple as that and wayne will do it but he is busy making and selling pretty cues around the world and I don't need to slow anybuddy down. I am a little short on bread right now but I think it'll pass, you need some small tapping jobs? Thanks Leonard

If Wayne is your buddy he should have the few moments to drill & tap your holes for you. Truthfully, anyone with a "pretty new lathe" ought to be able to drill & tap your own holes.
I'm not sure how you are low on funds...you were just inquiring about wanting to buy a new Gilbert j/b.
Just to show what a stand up guy I am...I'll drill & tap the holes for you. But if you start telling people that that cue you've been trying to make is a VARNEY...then we're gonna fight...I PROMISE.
I already got one guy running around with a pair of cues, saying they are Varney's, and we know it ain't exactly so!!! I don't pay the bills by helping locals save $$$ by putting together their own cues...just not real high on my priority list. Especially when I've got paying customers waiting on new Varney cues.
