i'm going to be selling some cues soon, but before i list them, i need some shipping boxes. i don't see any suitable usps priority mail boxes on the usps website. i know they have the triangular shaped boxes, does any one have a product # i can request from the post office? i asked locally, and they don't know what i'm talking about, and they say the tubes were discontinued.

where do you guys get your shipping boxes?

thanks,

larry

Larry,
They are furnished free by USPS for Priority Mail. Go to www.usps.gov and register, then go to your account for shipping supplies. You will find them there. Joe

"Boxes
• The Priority Mail Flat Rate Box is $8.10 for any U.S. destination.
• The inside dimensions for the two boxes available are 11" x 8.5" x 5.5" and 13.625" x 11.875" x 3.375"."

i can only find the above two boxes offered at the website. can you post a link to the cue sized boxes please?

they actually have a triangle box available. Just go to the post office and show them the cue, they will know what you need. Ive sent many cues with them and there has been no problem. Hope this helps

Larry, click on the second link I sent you. The boxes are the 38x8 or so express/priority mail boxes. The second link will open to the boxes for cues, etc.

If you live near a DHL hub they're the nuts. Good pricing and service and they furnish packaging (triangle tube) if you ask. 100.00 automatic insurance. They help me keep shipping prices reasonable. BTW, the triangle tubes are about 1.75 wholesale in lots of 50.

This is not always true .. my post offices typically do not carry triangle boxes in inventory. They always refer me to the website to order them.

Or they refer me to tubes for sale :D

USPS will provide Priority Mail and Express Mail supplies free of charge. You can simply log onto and register at the www.usps.gov site, put a credit card on file, and order mailing supplies for free. You can also print out your mailing slips and pay postage there. They make the money for the supplies from the postage sales and provide them to customers who send more than the average number of packages as a service so that we won't use an alternative method of shipment. It is a great service. UPS provides the same service for their express package supplies(not ground). I don't knowe about Fed-Ex or DHL.
