At this point, I'm not sure if I will make it to the show or not. Right now, my shop is under about 6" of water. I'm pumping it out, but it hasn't stopped raining, so who knows if I'll be able to work tomorrow or not. I have lived here 7 years. I only had water one time. Two or three weeks ago, I had the same problem and was out of commission for 2-3 days while I got things cleaned up. I have about 10 cues I'm trying to finish up and went to get set up to spray this morning.
I opened the door to my spray room and the water was up over the top of my shoes (This is the lowest point in my basement). 20 minutes later, I had water coming into my CNC room. I decided rather than fight the water, I'd hang out with the kids. I just went down to get back to work and the water was the worst I'd ever seen it.
Between the sick wife, sick kids (including trips to the ER with the baby) and the water, I guess I'm lucky to be as close to done on the cues as I am. The last few months have been brutal here. It's always hectic, but lately, there is always something.
Anyway, I'm doing the best I can to finish everything up over the next few days, but I am not going to kill myself. If I get a few cues done, I will make the trip. If not, I won't.
Here's a sneak peak of one of the fancier ones I'm finishing up. This one should make it if I do. Photo was from before I finished the inlays, but that's all you get for now.
