Valley Table Rails?

I am looking to put new rails and cloth on my 7' Valley table. Should I stick with the standard valley rails? Ridgeline rails? Can anyone make any recommendations on what to get in order for it to play it's best? I appreciate any insight you may have.
 
Do a search on this Forum for "Ridgeback rails". Lots of positive comments about their rails for Valley tables.

standard valley rails have adhesive issues. go with the ridgebackrails.com. These rails are made by a guy name Kerry in New Mexico. Small production outfit that really cares about quality of his product. Outstanding rail, much better than stock.
 
Ridge back rails would be a great upgrade to your table. I belive he is a memeber on her so you can pm him.

I can not attest to how they play (Ridgeback) but I have a set waiting for me when I get home. They took my original rails to use as a template. I have a new Valley Panther. I had them lengthen the rails to tighten the pockets. They are a real pleasure to work with and encourage feedback on their product. I can't wait til I get it back together.
 
I just replaced the rails on my 20 year old valley with the ridgeback rails from Kerry. They totally put new life into my table. I also picked up simonis cloth and a new set of aramith premiums from him. Kerry is a super great guy to deal with and I couldn't be happier with my new setup.

You have the new 5 bolt rails , is that why they needed them for a template ? Have you had any issues with balls popping out of the pockets on your new table ?
