I posted this in Cue Reviews but got no response.

A fellow I know has this Brunswick Masterstroke, leather wrap cue stick in prime condition which was bought in 1944. I was wondering what it is worth, if anyone has an idea. Here is a picture of it. Shaft is in A1 condition as is the tip and rolls straight together.

Your information is confusing. The cue pictured is not a Masterstroke. It's a Willie Hoppe Professional.

A close-up shot of the decal on the cue is needed to date the cue.

That link shows an Ivory Joint but sez it is brass? And $1500 is way out of line...Notice it has no Veneers and real short points nothing like a Willie Hoppe Professional in my opinion....I would guess $500 or less for a masterstroke, Ron
