How is the best way to find the value of a cue....I have a titlest conversion done by roger pettit/jack madden...I want to find the value so i can sell it...I guess the better ? to ask is who would you ask...

Jack makes a fine cue. Any of his customers will feel some degree of interest in your offering. I would contact Jack and ask him about replacement cost to establish a base value. Then you add or subtract based upon condition and extras.
Another way is to establish value like they do in real estate sales. In the simplest terms, find several similar items and average what they are selling for.
Some buyers will argue that much of the value in a conversion cue is based upon WHO converted it...no matter how good a job. Others are concerned with the veneer colors and materials. Is it an ebony blank or a rosewood? Have the veneer colors bled into one another?
A third method would be to use a Blue Book of Cue Values. Just assessing if the cue is a level 3, 4 or 5 cue will allow you to find a starting value that is based upon a verifiable source.

What work was done by Roger and what work was done by Jack? Who originally built the cue, and was it repaired by the other or did they build it together?
