Value/Story: Meucci Original

Bought this cue for $50 from a family friend about 12 years ago. I guess I never looked at it as anything special. Not looking to get rid of cue just wondering model and maybe an estimated value. I would like to get it refinished also so if anyone knows of a good place to send it, let me know!Thanks!

hmm.. i would venture as saying.. estimated value of being $250 plus or minus a few bucks..

The cue is a Meucci Original Model 84-2, I believe. Chris is probably right on as to the value.

I can't help you on the valuation question, but Mike Erwin completely restored a friend's Meucci original to "as new" condition. It's my understanding that Mike used to work for Meucci during the time they were making Meucci Originals. In fact, Mike even had on-hand many of the original rings used in those cues. Good luck. He does nice work. He did a refinish on one of my cues that was top notch. He (it's actually his son Scott, I think) also does really nice leather wraps.

Scot Sherbine at www.proficientbilliards.com also does an excellent job, and also sprays over the wraps just like Meucci does. Turns the work around pretty quick as well.
