Shane Van Boening produced a comeback for the ages as he came from 10-3 down to defeat Hall of Famer and former World Champion Mika Immonen 11-10 to reach the Last 16 of the 2022 World Pool Championship at the Marshall Arena, Milton Keynes.

This was just epic!! Mika was a beast, but only got three shots (2 missed jumps, 1 missed kick) after Shane got to the table in the 14th rack of 21. The tension was high and built each game until the very end. Great match. Great match.

One of the things separating great players from good players. Most would have mentally given up down ten-three.

Thats nothin...Omar was down 10-1 and camelback to win...
Winner breaks in 9 ball, races to 11 works, the 40 yrs of Barry Behrman/US Open 9 ball events has proven that.

This moment in time speaks loudly for the GAME/SPORT/SPECTATORS.

Like another said, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more exciting than shootin' spot shots' for the win, duh.

Spot shots would be, like watching the PGA do closest to the hole on a par 3 shoot out to pick a winner. NOT
