I've never even smoked a cigarette but I watched 2 of the best players alive play a big gambling match in New Orleans a couple of months ago and they were both vaping after every turn at the table to stay in the zone, anyone have any Idea which vape works best for this ?
 
It's the 'new' cocaine. Just kidding. It's the nic boost without having to go to leave the table in most places like smokers. As long as the vapors are being considerate ( stealthy ) and not blowing 'clouds' it's generally ok with non vapors. That is generally the youngsters and rude. I am a 38 year pack + a day ex- smoker.

I have not had a cigarette in 25 months nor do I long for one....ever. I choose to vape and have got many off cigarettes in the last 2 years utilizing vaping cessation when patches, pills and gum failed. .

I would assume that they were smokers at some point. I am 21 days without a cigarette after a 22 year habit of 2-3 packs a day. I vape a little bit just to try and break the habit.

I can only shake my head in pity & disdain at smokers and those who vape...but not whilst guzzling my next double shot. I hate spilling my liquor.

I dislike smoking BUT I distrust vaping far more. I have NO FREAKING idea what that shit is or what it is going to do to anyone that inhales it firsthand or secondhand. It stinks and is nasty.

E Liquid Ingredients:

Propylene Glycol (PG) – this is used as a base or carrier for the nicotine and flavors. PG is widely used as a food additive and can be found in many things that we regularly eat. PG can also be found as an additive in some medicines.

Vegetable Glycerine (VG) – also used as a base or carrier for the nicotine and flavors in e-liquid. VG is a plant based substance and is sometimes made from coconut or palm oil. VG is also widely used as a food additive.

Water – no explanation needed

Flavorings – food flavorings are added to create a specific taste

Nicotine – most brands offer anywhere from 0mg of nicotine to 24mg of nicotine in their e-liquid


Vaping helped me stop smoking and I enjoy it. It's nice being able to take a hit here and there while shooting without going outside. That being said I'm not one of the idiots blowing clouds all over. The pen I have you can close the air chamber and there is almost no cloud at all. Even then I normally go to an area no one else is in, take a hit or two and put it back away.
 
I have 2 set of nice vape and be willing to trade one for a nice case or pool related item or a LD shaft if anyone want to try vaping...juice and charger come with it

IL will soon close this loophole and no vaping allowed indoors. Thank Goodness, stuff smells like crap.

Mine smells like red hots candy lol. Then again the only ones that really smell it are my gf and a couple of my buddies because I'm not out blowing huge clouds around other people. I hope they don't close the "loophole" in South Dakota anytime soon because I'm done smoking and chew a lot less than I did and if they do force that out too I'll probably end up chewing a can a day again.
 
dont you see all the older pool players with lots of health problems and they arent even very old. most have already died young. they are sick and full of problems from smoking.

and vaping or smoking, that is your future too.

Please don't put vaping and smoking in the same arena.

Many of us (me and others I know personally) who switched from smoking to vaping are very happy and believe it's healthier choice. I am personally very happy that I made the switch to vaping 3 years ago (and gave up smoking) and believe I am very much healthier person as the result of this change.

I find that many negative comments regarding vaping comes from people who are uninformed or misinformed on the topic.

Unfortunately, vaping is picked up by young hip crowd who's more interested in blowing the biggest cloud possible. I vape away from the crowd, outside and am OK with that. Unlike smoking, no one in the office can "smell me" when I return to the office :)
 
I have a PAX vaporizer. It doesn't hold EJuice.

Just the Bud Juice.

One of us will go into the Doniker, the other gets a hand off when one comes out.

There are so many Vaporizers on the market. Just go shopping and find one that suits your needs or is to your liking.

Then start trying out different Juices to see which ones you like the best.

I have tasted some good and not so tasty ones.

I quit smoking a couple of years ago, but have the odd Cigar and will have a cigarette once or twice a day now. When I am out playing pool, I don't need anything beyond a cold one, or 6.

I have been tempted to try out a Vape. The cigar shop that I go to has some nice Pen type Vapes. I think those would be the easiest to pack around.

hehehehehe, no WONDER i like you! (i'm a CC girl & those ecigs are a tease) ;)

@ GREENFELT - ecigs/vaping have pretty much saved pool. when NC went 100% non-smoking, and you're paying table time by the hour, and you're spending 10mins outside in all kinds of weather to smoke....fill in the _____. per my pulmonologist, ecigs are considered as NON-smoking. they are a Godsend when you're in the hospital, cause the patch doesn't work & they won't give you pain pills to get your mind off of not smoking. there are $60 high-tech electronic vapes, for which you can get numerous flavors, which do cause odors. or you can get a $5 ecig (looks like a cig & has 400 hits) and doesn't smell. both are cheaper than real cigs & keep you at the table.

you can also somehow smoke MJ via the vapes.... how "zoned" were your players?
 
Fellow vaper here, not a cloud bro. Just bought a new flavor and my clouds smell delish. 7 months cigarette free after smoking for 20 years. Its great for playing pool, especially in New England during the winter.

Big tobacco is trying to crush the vaping industry because they are losing money rapidly.

Vaping is 95% safer than cigarettes and a great way to quit smoking.
