he Jake,
It won't take long to figure everyone out. It's nice to have you here and sharing pictures and experiences.
Say hello to Rick for me. Lots of fun in Atlanta this year. Especially at the pool tourney

Best,
Ken
Thank you for the kind words Ken. I have a blast at every cue show every year. It is the one thing i looked forward to. Especially this year, I told you about that bad car accident I was involved in back in April and I literally didnt do anything all spring and summer.it sucked but had to do it for legal reasons.
I cant be out playing golf and pool everyday and expect a settlement.
At Johnny Archers poolroom outside ATL was the first time i had hit any balls since before the accident. Not using it as an excuse but I think our match would have went differently than it did. Like it did at the tournament in Sante Fe

My first match was Phil Eastwood of Quivers and I won 3-0 my next match was you I lost 3-2 and had a combo 3-9 in the case game that I missed and you ran out on me. After you beat me you caught a gear and started playing pretty jam up pool buddy.
I look forward to the tournament but the thing i like most is sitting outside having a smoke and picking all of your guy's brains, the info I have gotten from cue makers like Andy, Jim Stadum,Pete Tonkin and collectors like Phil Windham,YOU,and few others(not many collectors smoke) that info, stories and just "good ol cue talk" is priceless to me.
I ask alot of damn questions but I wanna know what going on,I just dont wanna sit there,I wanna be part of the conversation but only IF I KNOW WHAT THE HELL I AM TALKING ABOUT, after either 8or 9 ICCS shows and god knows how many questions later,I feel like i have a good amount of knowledge.
I know I am lucky as crap to be amongst the best cue makers, best collectors and their collections and I know a lot of people would give their eye teeth to be in my shoes. Iam lucky,I know that-but I am also humble about it and I dont and never will take it for granted. Ive made some true life long friends and cherish those friendships, its the better side of the pool world, where someone aint tryin to rob you, shoot you, beat you up over $$$ ect ect
