This cue does NOT have Elforyn. The joint is an mp-ivory sub.
As for Elforyn...it is not like Huebler plastic at all. Elforyn has proved VERY durable. Markus at Eurowest has even made entire cues out of it. I've also tested it on a break cue with a G10 tip and it did not crack. Out of the many Elforyn joints & ferrules I've installed over past few years...I've yet to see one single issue of the Elforyn cracking.
