Four rosewood points, Solid Maple shaft with white phenolic collars, 3/8x10 pin. The construction is awesome. Well built cue based on its looks. The butt is really skinny and light. I don't jump well because the short stroke is one of my weaknesses in pool. Others have tried it. One was a AA player. He was amazed how easily he jumped over the ball (maybe 3-4 inch distance between cue and first ob jump). When I do get a good short stroke on the cue the thing hops with a lot of power. The cue tip holds chalk really well. Overall great construction and hops with a lot of power. Will update review when I get better at jumping.

Now there is a rare cue! You won't see too many of these shorty Varney's. Glad you like it sir. Remember...a loose grip is key to great jumping.;) Nice match on the joint protector too. :)
