Handcrafted quality!

Here is a j/b that I made for Greg. Actually the wood in his original one pitched a fit at the last moment so I swapped the blank for this one. I hope its nicer than you were expecting buddy. 18.1oz, brown collars, 57" and white w/brown speck irish linen...and this is the premium old linen from 1970's. I'm pm'ing you tracking info in a moment. I apologize for the extra wait....I hope you like the cue.

Kev, I love the progrees you are making on all these cues, and I really need to get my sh!t together and get another one built and don't take this as me hijacking this thread. but where the joint screw is inserted most if not all of your cues have a bowl below the suface. Is this something that helps you achieve your desired hit, I know I have seen very few cues that are built like this unless the shafts are piloted, just curious, thanks.

Its just where I beveled the edge of the bored hole. It allows me to face off the joint without hitting the pin. Occasionally there is a need to face the surface again after the cue is somewhat complete so as to remove any clearcoat or epoxy. I learned that trick from Mr. Keith Josey. Much better than bumping the pin and causing damage to the threads. ;)
