i got it from kevin thur here in a trade for a ring i had....
 
replied to pm's....i can email pix no prob...there is a thread on here some where from me saying i had a engagemnet rig to trade for a cue,kevin and me worked a deal...this is the cue...plays and looks as new has basic ring work.one shaft,triangle tip,no nicks or scratches...just not playing alot right now and need to thin out collection...250 shipped is a down and out steal....no less....thx jerry

Jerry I can't remember which pete was yours. Was it a used one with ringwork in the joint, Hoppe buttcap, green Emerald tip? If so let me know & I'll post pics for you. Or...email me a pic so I'll know the cue, then I'll post my pics for you.:smile:

no kevin,new cue you said you made for your personal bar cue,has ss pin,brown ringwork,no hoppe buttcap...i not be selling if i played more,im sure i'll be contacting you for another one in a few months from now..lol...they play great

I remember now & sorry but I didn't get any pics of it before you got it. Just my basic sneaky-pete with brown phenolic joint collars. The pics you sent me are really bad, wrong size, and blurry...sorry. It was hard to tell but I think I saw a black line on the ferrule. The new buyer is welcome to send it to me & I'll replace the ferrule & install a fresh Triangle at no charge. Just cover the return shipping. Also Jerry it looks like you twisted the bumper out and didn't get it back in flush. LOL....lick a little spit on the bumper stem then twist it back in flush...it'll look much better.;)

thx,,,the bumper on my is fine....it was just alittle crooked in the pix...its back in as new....but it looks just like this,but not signed...thx kevin
 
I took a Varney conversion in a trade a while back.
It is a great cue and take it with me to the bar.
This year, despite the rest of my meager cue collection, this will be my main league player, it hits that great.

Obviouslyy its just a bar cue but from what I have seen, Kevin uses pretty decent bar wood. Its the shaft taper that I attribute to making my cue a super player.

For the price, anyone will be happy with this cue.
Just my 2 cents.

Jerry, as always on AZ, its going to be a tougher sell with no actual current pics. If you'd like...go ahead & send it to me. I'll replace the tip & ferrule and clean it up like new. Then I'll take some good current pics in my studio that you can use to help attract a buyer. No charge for my work but please send enough with the cue to simply cover return shipping. :smile:
