vegas poolhalls

Not true Craig! There is action every night at Pool Sharks, where the only Diamond 9' tables in Vegas are. This is straight from a local, who gambles there every night...so the OP can get action if he wants it.

What ever happened to the old Crystal Palace?

Now that was a pool hall!!

last time I was in crystal palace was in 92, i was seeing some girl who lived a half a mile from it, it was owned by a 3-cushion champion(a mexican guy-he was very nice cant remember his name), it was mostly billiard tables(in good condition) the pool tables were trashed, it was pretty run down then, I havent been up that direction since 92 or 93 and it was still there then but I really dont know now. I put a GC4 in my house in Vegas and retired from serious pool in 94, Cue-topia is where I played and its gone now that ws the last pool room in Vegas I was in and that was over 5 years ago. back in the day crystal palace was a good spot but there was a down town pool room that been gone forever but was the "spot" in the 50-60 all the old guys Rex Canon etc spoke highly of it, they all said it was better than crystal palace-i'm not knocking it just repeting what i heard. the place they were refering to is where the Lady Luck is in down town they tore down the building to build the casio.
