Veneer colors of old Gus cues

My favorite cues are old classic 4 point 4 veneer cues the fancy inlay cues are nice but I love the old classic cues like some suggestions on veneer combos I have been glueing up some veneers in my spare time and going to do some fore arms any pictures or suggestions would be appreicated thanks ...Lee

Maple/green/orange/black

Can't get much more "classic" than that, IMO.

Try black, T-teal, T-mahogany, and natural. I saw this combo in a Balabushka with a Gus forearm, ebony into maple. I loved it. Black, orange, green, and natural is probably the most classic combo there is.
