Like Lee I don't think it would work as well. Also with a V router bit you have to mess with whats called tip drag. Amana makes a v bit with replaceable cutters for folding MDF and it's like 91 degrees. Think it runs 90.00. A grind shop near by is a blessing. DZ talks about it on his site.
I've tried it on my cnc gantry, and can make it work, but have to make two passes about .002 apart going in opposite directions, to make it a climbing cut on both sides of the fold. PITA, but do able. If you make one pass, it just isn't 90 degrees. Saw blade works every time. Only problem is I don't have enough table saws, so it always seems like I want to cut what ever I don't have the saw set up for.
