Yup, but the density and color consistency is no contest. :)
And it's much easier to cut tubes than sheets.
Something to be said about all the above.
It's pretty easy to cut sheets.
But epoxy absorption can have It's moment's on colors.

I keep it simple. Colored phenolic sound good.

hey mike, u hole-sawing (no pilot) the ID of your rings from phenolic sheet, andthe. turning your OD on a jig?

The wooden plates keep the sheets from spinning and splitting . Between the phenolic to make them round without splitting.

nice. ya i used that clamp idea to cut g10 tip pads before also. good for those weird colors until we can pitch in to habe joey get those other colors :)
