Very Fancy Gulyassy

My pics do not do this baby justice. According to Mike Gulyassy this is the very first cue he ever did with inlays. This was done in his garage in 98 before he had all the fancy equipment. Every inlay was done manually.(which is why the alignment is not as exact as it would be today) The cue has 108 inlays of real silver and ivory. The joint is ivory. The forearm and butt plate are ebony with pink ivory points shaft is Birdseye and curly maple and hits a ton. The cue was originally raffled off for charity in new york. This is my first cue of this caliber and wanted to share it.

Mike makes some very nice cues.:)
He really does make a great cue.every one that has seen this cue in person has been blown away by not only the work involved but how difrent it plays with the birds eye shaft.

What do you think, would look awesome in ebony and olivewood with maybe some ivory! Just my thoughts.

Matta here r the pics of the shaft I was telling you about...It has the curls and the eyes....

Mike

Yeah, that's a nice shaft. Love the figure. I wonder where he came across that shaft blank. We get them randomly mixed in with our normal shipments. However, they are few and far between.

Give me a little time tomorrow to hunt through our "In Process", shafts. I know we've got a few nice curly ones mixed in there.

I'll make you proud :)
