In Blue: Mista's answer to me:

To be honest I would rather you give it to some one that actually needs it and would put it to good use , Im in no means not thankful for the offer as I am but there are lots more people that are worse off than I am (not rich but not poor) that cant afford much so I would rather you gave it to a charity or maybe a boys & girls club?? Once again thank you very much for the offer Miles.

to me Mista's answer was really what i expected from him. and i truly have Great Respect for him. i hope you see why

i can not cure Fales - he is what and who he is

to all the others, Mista is a really good guy, don't you think?

all the best,
smokey

you bought a 30 buck cue from a no name website that also sells "cloned" aramith balls (really you can clone a resin now, what's next a sheep:eek: that should have read counterfieted not cloned). the site also won't give you any clue where they are when you go to the contact section. they just give a toll free number and an email address. and you're shocked and dismayed that what you received was s*it? you should have been eagerly awaiting that package thinking about how bad it was going to be. you could have gone to pooldawg or ozone or meullers or the az market place and found a players sneaky pete for about 20 dollars more than you spent. i know $50 ain't $30 but i've never had a problem with a players cue. i've bought a jump break, a 21 oz to break with and a few shooting cues as that i gave to some friends who are just starting to play. not a problem with one. and if i did have a problem i know ozone will make good for sure and i am pretty sure the other well know companies would do like wise. $20 is worth piece of mind. sometimes you really do get what you pay for.

You are good people Miles. I hope the house cues I sold you faired better than the OP's cue.

Kelly <Stands corrected, there is a santa, and his name his Miles>

I have found meany good deals and have had a good success rate among the products and even people that have posted in this thread have said they have gotten a decent cue (not a $1000 playing cue but decent) for around $30ish. What I was looking for was a cheap straight cue for my wife to use when she come out to play, now am I going to spend a few hundred on a cue so it can be used once in a blue moon? no so I went the cheap route (guess that makes me dumb acording to some of you). So what did I expect? I expected to get what was stated but that must be worng as it looks like I am the only one that has faith any more. Once agan the point of my rant was not to ***** about the money but to ***** about the principal of honest selling. Would it make a difference if I paid $500 for a cue and it came like this? no because it shouldnt matter if I paid $5 or $500 if something is stated then it should be as stated. If a person steals a candy bar and gets caught its still theft under $5000 (Im in Canada) just like if a person stole a flat screen tv.

I wanna thank smokey for his offer on sending me a free cue ( I dont know smokey from a hole in the wall) and if it were about the money I would have jumped all over his offer.

GreyGhost that was one hell of a post and it was very informative as I didnt know any of that so thank you.

As for the rest of the people on here that are just goning to post "you paid $30 for a cue what did you expect??" or "you get what you pay for" thanks for your geniric input it was real informative ;)

I didn't mean to come across as harsh, but seriously, even if they claimed it was gold plated and for sale at $30 would you still buy it and then complain when it was nothing more than gold paint? You just need to be realistic, that's all.
