Very rare ivory ginacue

It would still look great in pics though, lol. I would have Ernie fix it for sure.

So would I. The problem is that fix is expensive, around 2K easily, and when you are done, you still have a cue with a grafted forearm. The shameful thing had already happened far before Sam acquired this cue, and even if the cue had been sent to Ernie then (assuming the arm was broken in some way) the fix would have still resulted in a vastly reduced value cue.

Auction sale

So who was "smart enough" to dump this at a public acution where everything is sold "as is" with no guarantees whatsoever, with the seller undisclosed? If they sold it in any other forum there would have been repercussions, chargebacks or worse.

I almost had it for just over 3k at last week's auction, but was outbid. For me this was the first time I've ever felt good about missing a cue. I emphathize with the buyer, it's a rollercoaster ride this cue flipping.

As Jack said in A Few Good Men, "You roll the dice you take your chances"

I am surely glad I didn't get involved in this whole fiasco. I love the cue. It's a shame somebody's gonna kicked in the nuts on this one. :frown: Looks like it's gonna be Sam. I feel for him. :frown:

He's a good guy, a friend for a long time. Stuff happens in the pool cue world.
