Very nice SW!!!
I like the wood combination and how it looks without veneers!
Congrats!

btw can you pm me how much Laurie charge for the JPs with ivory top?

WOW! that's amazing. Before reading all the way down, I would have thought you had it refinished. Please tell me you are going to hit some balls with it!

SW Franklin!

Thank you to all for the nice words, and glad everyone likes the cue as much as I do. I know Jerry Franklin put his heart into this special cue, and that means a lot. I did hit a couple balls with my SW players shaft- like a dream, and solid as it should be. I can not chalk the original shafts, but I may order two new shafts and start playing with it.
Thank you again, and thank you to Laurie, Mickey, and Al for keeping the legacy alive!

Rare Franklin

Yes (mrinsatiable), the old Micarta does have a distinct look that sets the cue off! I know you love SW cues also, so much appreciation for your compliment.
Thank you,
Greg!

Rare Franklin SW

Just a bump to give a last look at a real beauty! " South West The Best"

Cool Cue

I like your SW, the back story is just as neat. You not only own a jam up cue, you own a piece of SW history. That is something you just can not put a price on.

Simple yet so elegant. Hold on to that cue it is a masterpiece.

Enclosed pics are of an extremely RARE Jerry Franklin made in 1988. This cue was made for Jerry's cousin, and sat in a safe for almost 25 years-UNHIT. I had Laurie make me Matching Ebony and Ivory Cactus Logo joint protectors. I am very lucky to had a chance to buy and save this cue in my collection. Hope you all enjoy the pictures- She is a BEAUTY!!!!!
