So I'm curious as to how many other people dance in celebration. Sometimes I can get going including such things as swinging my cue around and grabbing the girls at the next table. One guy I know pushes himself off the table and rolls until he hits a bench or wall or person or other such obstacle (he's in a wheelchair). I hope I'm not the only one who boogies down when I win.

Unless it's the World Pool Championships or the US Open, victory dances seem kind of cheesy after a pool match. After you win, there's not much need for sharking, unless you're banking it for the next meeting.

Showing that amount of emotion after winning a match tells me you are not used to winning!
And after winning against certain opponents your dance just may end up being "THE WORM".

I'm an emotional guy. But you're right, I don't win. Look me up if you're ever in Co Springs. I'll take the 7.

When ever I win a big match against a great player, I just act like I do it every day. Smile and a hand shake.

But I'm sure that if I won a big tournament I would show some more emotion. Not that I am emotionless at the table, quite the contrary everyone knows how I am feeling usually.

I just shake hands. Life goes on. Same thing when I lose.

To me when someone dances around it shows that they didn't expect to win.

In the words or Hall of Famer John Riggins

"When you get to the end zone, act like you've been there before."

That's my style.

Brian in VA - would really enjoy knee capping someone dancing after winning.:D

It on depended who I beat. If it was an AH that was trying to shark me while I was shooting or a smart ass, I would do a Cubby Checker Twist for the victory. Jo:D hnnyt

Why bother if you won?. The best revenge is to live well. What's better living than beating an AH?.

Hahhaha a friend and I were talking about doing some really cheesy stuff after we win a match at an upcoming team tournament. We were going to get in a line and canoe around the table, maybe act like it is a relay race and hand off the butt end of my stick while running around the table, possibly act like my cue is a peace pipe and pass it around. We had a few more but I was just imagining doing that and peoples reaction haha. Well, I never do anything more than a fist pump, and that doesn't come out unless it is a huge win.

I love the canoe idea!

Victory dances can be trouble though.

After a night of drinking Jack Daniels (I've given it up, btw), I won an undeserved victory, so I did the ol' machine gun rat-ta-tat-tat at the opposing team and blew the smoke outta the barrel. They weren't too happy.

6 months later at state, I apoligized to the other team and they said, no, it was their fault for letting me win and getting angry at my antics. So all it well.

Say hello to my little friend...

I don't do victory dances after winning for two reasons: 1. I have more class than that!!! 2. If I wanted to be a clown I'd join the circus!!!
