As for Gus' name: I am Hungarian and I believe that Gus' has a Hungarian last name. We have the letter of 'Sz' and it is pronounced as an 'S' in English and we have many names ending with an 'i'. His name has to be pronounced as Sum[boat]i - if I had to write it down in English. I am sure about that

By the way, Eugene Balner, maker of Palmer cues was Hungarian too!
