video of me playing 14.1

Great effort - I really like the way you control the cue ball. In the second rack, you started running into balls when you shouldn't have - you ended up in no-man's land without a shot - but all in all, it was a good effort for your first video.

Video

A Brunswick Gold Crown with a ball return. It does not get much better then that to play on.... Enjoyed watching your video. You ran 18 not 20. Played the first rack well. There were a few different key balls that you could of used but the way you went about it was fine leading up to a very good break.
2nd rack, you kept that cue ball near the bottom rail under all those balls. It got you in big trouble. The 1-ball you shot in the lower left corner and lightly bumped some balls. That shot was the one you needed to get out of there and get on top of the balls. You then shot the 4 ball in the lower right corner and got stuck.
Yes, filming puts more pressure on you, which is good b/c you can relate it to playing under pressure during a match.

Damn cops... Always there to lend a helping hand. ;)

you didnt like the 7 for the break shot there? did you just not have the angle? hard to tell from here. but that's my favorite kind of break so i would have left that for last.

Got to watch your video from home, and I must say right off the bat that you are an excellent ball pocketer - even on the shot you scratched - that was not an easy shot. But I agree with 14.1 Straightman. If you were going to clean out the balls behind the rack - which was fine, you needed to leave a way out. The 4 was even OK to do this with had you gone more to the center of the table. There were a few balls that went in the left hand corner had you got the cue ball out far enough.

Happy to hear that you appreciate the comments. There are a lot of excellent players here on the 14.1 Forum that always help other players & each other.
It's a good place to be. Keep up the good work.

Thanks

Good ball pocketing! The shot you scratched on,which you made, was
not easy. With that being said , look to play patterns that leave easy
short shots. When cueball is further away from object ball,it is harder
to accomplish the desired intention of the shot.
You show lots of promise and should easily run your age!LOL:thumbup:
