Does anyone have video links to players using 5'x10' tables? In light of the Van Boening-Strickland match where they'll be playing on those size tables, I kinda wanted to see if there's much of a difference from 9 footers.

there is a lot more room, i used too play snooker (6 cherry rack) on a 5 by 10 when i was a teenager, the better potter will have a slight advantage in this match, is my opinion.

I have a 5 x 10 at home and position play strategy is much different! Instead of playing to get close to the next ball! You have to play to the most confortable spot and leave the added distance.

Any video you find of pool before the late 40's the only ones I have seen are pre 1950...Mosconi and Carras made some...Ralph Greenleaf also made some...Those are the only ones I can remember...I mean you got to realize the cost of a video camera in the 1900 to 1950. Most pool players would have never been able to afford to produce a video...

Some of the greatest videos today are made by total amateur video guys that borrowed 1G from mommy to get in...Willie Mosconi's and Jimmy Carras (Super Cueman) video's were made by MGM.
