Can someone help me out here...

What year (likely) & model is this Viking Cue?

This guy tells me it's a 2007 model g84. I don't think so... guy said he paid 1200 bucks for it a year or so ago.

I don't recall how long it's been since I saw a viking logo with the word viking circled I also don't recall how long it's been since I saw a round bumper on a viking.

Can someone give me some info? Rep to anyone that can help.

First things first...it is NOT a G-84: http://vikingcue.com/products/cue.php?cueid=78


Closest cue in the G series is a G-12: http://vikingcue.com/products/cue.php?cueid=11

However, it is an older cue, probably from the late 80s-early 90s. It is close to a Q36 which sold new for $120 and has a current Blue Book value of around $100. Jayman is probably right on with the number/value. Most cues like this in decent shape will sell for around $100.

Like when did viking stop circling the logo name, or when did they stop making round bumpers, etc. ?

this guys seems like a nice guy but is convinced that the wrap is made of silk, and also mentioned it having ivory pearls... and said it has a titanium core???

He also seems to think this is "coffee stained" birds eye maple, is it?

If the guy selling this cue really told you he paid 1200 for it ask him if he is hungry and if so tell him he just ate about 1100 of this viking
 
the guy doesnt seem to be trying to rip anyone off, he's only asking 100 for it.

That seems fair enough, but guy is convinced it's all the things I mention above with the "ivory pearls" and silk wrap, & titanium core built in 2007.... He's even convinced of the model number. Said he got it from esquire billiards??? I cant find any record of any esquire billiards anywhere???

If the guy were trying to get over on someone Im sure he would have asked more than it's worth for it. at 100, it's probably right at "market" for it.

lol, I know it's not worth what he said and I also knew it wasnt what he claimed, C'mon.... pleeeeeeeeeeeeeze. But Im beginning to think he may have paid that, based of everything he's been saying I wouldnt doubt if someone got over on him.
