Viking Tour

I am not questioning you Mike. Just telling you that alot of local players there thought the money was wrong. They are pool players and would have probably complained even if you added $5000. I don't care one way or another. I work 60 hours a week and pool is just something I do for fun.

All the best to you and yours

So where is here ?

This is one of the few activities where you are actively penalized for getting better. .

So is being successful in America, they more you make the more % you pay in Taxes, Sux and I completely understand where the stronger players position, Its lonely at the top. Pool is just brutal, brutal...

If you are asking where the players live that were complaining. the answer is in my first post. i was talking about the Memphis tournament... It was a group of about 6 or 7 locals, I just happen to walk up on the conversation.

The backlash has begun, but not like everyone thought. Everyone look at thread "GSBT payouts".
I promise you that beleive it or not there is already like 10 really good players livid over this amateur tour. Its not just me.

I have played or donated in many of the Viking stops and have had to play Bwizzle in the first round and got blistered 7 to 1 and I might have learned something, not sure. I have been out of work with a couple finger surgeries so I haven't had the money to play in any open events for a while but I will be soon playing in some Vilking amateur events since I have an outside chance of cashing. Maybe Bwizzle wont play in any Viking events but if the other 9 really good players don't take advantage of playing in a Viking open stop close to them they are cutting there own throats as far as I can see. If I had the talent of Brian W or BJ I would drive to a tournament every weekend if held in a three or four state area around Charlotte. Mike and Shannon will both tell you I'll drive that far just to watch if I have any income coming in, I started playing in Red Willis's tournaments and Tk's tournaments and will never give up on playing or spectating. I just love the buzz of a good calcutta and the action of a tourney.--Leonard
