I picked this wall mount ball holder up from a buddy. The gentleman he got it from had several tables in his home for some 40 years before he had to let everything go due to his age and financial difficulties. One of the tables was a Snooker table so could it be a Snooker table piece? He said it was around 100 years old. I have combed it over and can't find any type of dates, model or serial number, manufacturer, etc. I was hoping that someone could give a little insight on it. I don't want to have it refinished because if it is in fact that old, or close, then I believe it would hurt the value of it not to mention the character it brings to it. Thanks for looking.....

I do not see how refinishing it with a professional restorer would hurt the value. Who would want a Kling, Monarch, Munroe, Medalist, Non Paraliel Novelty etc unrestored?
I have on unrestored but it is mint. If it needed a restoration, I would do it.

The ball rack is definitely a Brunswick Balke Collender piece. Made from about 1912 into the 1920s.
The model number is the #120. It came in quarter sawn oak and a mahogany stain over (birch most likely). The rack sold for $7.50 in my 1917 catalog.

And the shelves are numbered so you can use them to keep track of which balls were sunk during which inning.

That things looks in decent shape without a refinsh, I'd keep it as it is, gives it "character" and you know that finish and wood has been through some history.

Thank You sir for the info! Could you possibly give me an estimation of it's value?
